Listened to the first one. This is hip-hop. I know hip-hop has changed and now there's a lot of people who sing over bass, but this is a track to support a story teller telling some dark shit. Melody sounds a little too programmed and I don't think aligned with the drum groove. Not that it was off beat but I don't think it has enough groove to be pitched as hip hop beat. I think chops could be rearranged in a way that creates more of a melody and rhythm. Drums also sound too...- Dusty B

love it and just on my ear buds. love what you did with the kicks while controlling the snare. what immediately stood out was how well the crashes are mixed and how you were able to maintain the downtempo/pitched down crashes but they still come through and are big without it sounding too... -
