ill give you a trick a old head gave me... i use a 4 head VCR and a EQ after my final mixes and shit is all done i run the mix through a EQ first then the VCR for that old school warmth. if you have never done this try it im sure you will like it. PS if the vcr has a digi out thats even... -

yes you will have to do a complete install of os. so you need to back up all of your stuff. think about it like this you just put a new computer together. you need to make sure that the ram is the same freq as the mobo as well good luck. -

I just layer a 808 drum with a Bass and trim the tail to the bass so it doesnt linger in the beat but im using reason 2.5. if you need some sounds let me know we can hook up. ONE! -

I agree with Oz,but an MPC is a sampler,sequencer. it has NO sound in it. as for a sound card whats your budget? ill point you in the right way to look at some and compare. and later if you get serious bout it your gonna need a new Computer. anything i can help with ill do. ONE -

Just go get u a M-Audio card ANY of them i have a delta 44 and i like it. no probs here plus i have 2ms lat in sonar. and burn ur other card...lol -

check the mpctutor site its a editor that saves them to floppy and u can assn the pads and all so it will be auto for u. it cost 30bucks after ur free month. -
