in my opinion a mac will never be on top again. just look around and see macs cost so much more and a pc is so much less and they if built right run very stable. at one time a mac was the god of the digital relm but in my opinion not any more. just my 5cent -

they have plugins that will give that warm sound of a mpc. i used to do all kinds of trick like mix down to a vcr and then back in to my recorder or us a tube pre amp. its all on you. ONE! -
