I agree on what you're saying @Fade but to me this guy sounds off to me and I can't put my finger on it. What he say in this video sounds good but at the same time he's bashing the music of today... So in his mind it seems like no music of today is good and let's go back to the good ole times... -

No, of course music was better back then compare to now. The 70s and the 90s are the greatest time in music (maybe the 80s too). What person on youtube or whatever that's trying to teach trying to reach??? More likely a 20+ year old person who already have there minds made up. No one teaching... -

Exactly my point about him (privilege) Yea kids don't listen because they had to find there own way to make things happen and when they figure it out you think they're going to listen to a (old) person that didn't help them in the first place. -

You beat is very repetition and your melody is kinda bright but its really nothing wrong with your beat. you just went against PhazeLark who made a drill beat. Sometimes it's the energy of a beat or people in this group probably like drill beats more.- K-waz
