    This is cool, def a style that's right up my ally. Some of the guitar hits sounded off to me. I think still on beat just threw off my head nodding. Might just be my hyper-whiteness though. Cool track. Great work!

    Curious, is there a best practice when taking that approach on how to run the sample... i.e. do you load the same sample into a sampler 2x and then each to it's own track on the mixer, or do you run 1 sample into 2 tracks on the mixer?

    Appreciate this. I think over the last couple weeks I've been trying to fuck around with too much shit. Thanks for the reminder that I really just need to make sure I'm doing the basics right and that there's no magic VST or preset.

    I remember Reason being the app to use. I think I used the trials and maybe some weird bootleg back then, but I remember never being able to figure it out when I was a kid.

    Yep, I used to use it for sample chopping, before FL had Edison. Audacity is still pretty solid too, I still use it sometimes.
