layering drums to sound thicker...care to share???
yea all that has been said above is true one technique i use sumtimes is to take one kick and put it through a chorus unit play that at a lowish volume, then layer the original kick over it ! -

damn man its ok i dnt see anything wrong with using sumthing sum1 posted up wen its just your first beat and your learning ! BUT........ your right that beat does suck for one main reason, you said beat and 'beat' would usually entail beats being in it as in drums beats thats a piano loop... -

Been looking recently at going to uni to do a music tech course, but i now may have an opportunity to start an inter at a BIG record label doing shit and helping out in the studio etc which would be a real foot in the door !
