I do it all the time and dont get any problems with sound in general. If you get FLAC files of albums and convert to WAV, its sounds as good as the vinyal, as many songs in FLAC are part of the FLAC project which is all about transfering wax to digital. Like I say , I do it in a second no... -

Getting Tracks to Sit Well in the Mix
I have been and still am very guilty of over doing tracks, less is more and when you get everything placed in the mix well, then you can amp up the overall level of the mix on the master and it will be better. Try using harbal too, it helps alot! -
