Can't get my MPC 2000xl sounds to stay!
you may need to change the midi channel on your keyboard, at least that what it sounds like to me. When I change sounds in my triton rack, I have to change midi channels in the keyboard I have midid to it. -

"Production value" for this LP is high though, they did a good job on it. But again as far as rap skills I PROMISE you that my friends and I get buzzed and rap actually better than him but as the buzz gets harder it may be even equal to W -

drum sounds not working in mpc 1000 (SAMPLE RATE MAYBE)???
maybe you have some mp3s on there, if so chnage them to wavs, also if a file name is too long that can do it , I have some too that just wont do right. -

Callin all 2500 Owners....
Another cool feature I stumbled on that I dont recall being in the manual: When in program mode highlight a sound assigned to a pad , then hit the window button, it goes to a screen that allows you to now adjust the attack and decay and things of that paticular sample, dont know if its pad... -
