@Tomblr I really like the sample selection. Actually, most of your beats have really dope samples. The little stutter FX do a lot to keep this interesting. If it's for a cypher, then the beat doesn't need to be overly complex...this fits that use case perfectly. The only thing I'd maybe tweak... -

^^^ multi-sampled kits are the way to go! Hence why I love the Maschine kits. The layered velocities are really dynamic. Sometimes I just crank the velocity to 127 to get that timbre then just back off the overall level of the track. Or vice versa.- BiggChev

No name Fender knock off. There’s a music store on the other end of the city that specializes in cheap/affordable instruments for public schools and kids programs. They sell to the public for a slight markup. I paid $150 Canadian for it. -

Yeah, the human feel really comes from Being super meticulous. Typically the first kick and snares are always dead on for me. Once i get the hi hats (with a variety of velocity) I’ll lay down drums with about 30% swing, then go and VERY slightly nudge around every third snare hit or something...- BiggChev
