    Make sure u always have a hard drive just for back ups. Im sure u dont wanna lose all ur work. And get a good power extension cable, with a surge protector, and if u serious, an uninterrupted power supply.

    If u know how to program synths, u can create anythin u want on a Motif/Fantom/Triton. They all have sample based and synthesized sounds.

    Like robb_lowe said, the KRK line is what u should look at. Either the RP5's or RP6's. And Symphonic I have never used the Alesis, but u should see if u can go in store and just listen to em. Thats the best thing 2 do.

    Gotta agree wit X-sinna. If u have $300, the RP5s are what you need. If u have more dough, then go for the HR824s or the RP8s.

    I think when you try to match the tempo it actually changes Tempo and Pitch, instead of just pitch. Thats all I can think of, and I'm pretty sure its the problem.

    Well I don't have a site, but what I recommend 4 sampling Soul is to download iTunes, and search thru there. That's all I use, coz its quick n easy.
