I've been working in reason 5 a lot more this week and man im Impressed. The kong has a lot of great features when it comes down to making new drum sounds or modulating drum samples. If you are into sampling the ease of use and simplicity of the kong is dope! I love logic but that damn Reason lol. -

I dont post my best stuff online. If I post something it was probably a 5 min beat or I purposely mix it horribly. Thats I why I dont bother with the Beat battles as much. I entered a contest then heard a wak ass rapper going in on my beat on myspace. Fux Dat never happening again. -

I havent used Vari speed yet to sample. Ill look into it. To tell you the truth I bounce back and fourth between Ableton and Logic a lot. If Logic had the ability to launch regions like Ableton Live it would be dope. Maybe next release. -

I use the sample editor and create regions command. Then move it on the gride and stretch it to what want length or pitch I want then use scissor tool.
