I watched the videos from the roland site a while back and it does look like a keen machine but the controls ( and the handspeed the instructor needs to manouvre over the machine ) spell RSI to me hehe. What's the best Software program to get started with?
Considering you're hardware biased I'd skip looking at FL, reason or any closed environment ( though Fl isnt as limited compared to reason when hardware is involved due to dashboard, midi out plugins and the fact that FL send midi out). Mpc 1000/2000
It does not support scsi since it features usb, current generation scsi would make an mpc1k setup far too expensive to be practical. Besides, everybody has usb, why bother with scsi on a mpc1k.- Formant024
