No clue man, I feel ya pain though, my dj got the same problem, lost everything.... You should zip em from FL and make backups more often, just make backups end of every week. you can also look into scsi hd's, I find them a lot more trustworthy.- Formant024

what would you like to see made by software companies
Why not start with a zipped looppackage with samples in it for starters and exchange them with each other while making the track. Those files are not so big and there's the same interaction as suggested in the threadstarter.- Formant024

Use quality needles like the Shure TG series and look for a good phono pre amp. If your mixer isn't topnotch than it probably lacks a good phono pre amp( I dont know your mixer though ). No, Ensoniq doesn't make any products anymore. They do have a full serivce department running under EMU/ENSONIQ/Creative but that's it. They've been pretty succesfull in the US, most US musicians I've spoken had a few of SQx synths during the good ol' swingbeat days, made me think everyone had one.- Formant024
