Yep, those are the jumper settings. Termination is needed depending on the scsi device last in chain. Some devices already offer embedded termination, I dunno on the zip, you should check it out though( go through the manual ). The mpc should recognize the zip by ID, the way you place the jumper...- Formant024

I can recommend a RME 9652 hammerfall with 24 chnl I/O, mix internal or fetch a good analogue console for blending the output/input signal. compression without compressor?
Out studio situations always makes my bring along the focusrite. I would recommend a good pre amp ( valved ) to set the colour . Compression isn't always the best solution, mostly its only making the good recording/take. I'd rather rule out bad recordings and go again. Some things just cant be...- Formant024

Does anyone have an Emu ultra sampler?
I gather that you can control its parameters with either Sound Diver or EOS Link and transfer samples to and from your PC through a scsi connection... You're so right! And Soundiver all the way baby! SCSI adapter by Adaptec 2940UWII ( recommended ). UW stands for UltraWide. The II ( 2 ) stands for the type, i believe 1 is like a 20 or 40 mb/s xfer 2 is 60 and 3 80. You should be able to replace the CD in an instance that easy. If it's IDE, no problemo. Just be carefull on the electronics...- Formant024
