    Pretty much what everyone else said. Judging by the era it's a sine wave with LFO / HIGH PASS / LOW PASS / EQ filtered to get it almost clashing / rolling into the kick?

    I've just sort of touched on this in the Tinker Tailor Beatmaker thread although you articulate this way better. "Too musicy", "too clean" and "the real Bigdick" really get the point across. Seriously nailed it with the "bluesy" note too. Nice to see you get in the Showcase and dropping feedback.

    You and me both mate @Delta Skeltah always mixes slightly lower but I think it quite often offers a vibe that's a bit more difficult to create when you brighten or raise volume levels.
