The price is to high and the market to small for the product. both MPC's and Maschine can hit hip-hop, electronic, and general production markets. Beat Thang has a much smaller potential audience AND the price is to high. On top of that they where vaporware for so long no one took them serious...- thedreampolice

Double track guitars (artificial) help ?
ha ha, got it :) Maybe using a different amp model? What are you using now in GTR? Not sure why you would change the pitch...or you could manually adjust the phase until it is where you want it? Those are a few quick ideas. Let us know what ends up working.- thedreampolice

ok got it, yup that won't really work. Double tracking implies recording the same part twice Tracking=Recording For your situation I would NOT double it or if you really need to put a small delay on it, like 1-3ms. But honestly Fuck mono, I don't really mix that way, or even think about it...- thedreampolice

A really awesome example of how cool/flexible Reason is
I can't believe I missed this LMFAO at Dac, this was NOT built in Ableton, it was built with hardware. And thus proving my point. Reason is as flexible as hardware! Also he is NOT for example using a oscillator from an effect to trigger a synth.- thedreampolice

Oh man if you want realistic orchestra sounds hardware is ABSOLUTELY the wrong way to go. You need to #1 learn about orchestral arranging/micing (this takes a long time and lots of study but is very rewarding) I worked my butt off and finally was able to make something like this...- thedreampolice
