your range of motion would be more limited but it's an extremely challenging exercise for your chest/triceps/delts (you isolate them since your lower body isn't involved, and the lack of elasticity), as a matter of fact many power lifters/bodybuilders use this exercise to improve their bench press.- DJ Excellence

you can always floor press, if you don't have a bench , just make sure you have a spotter (can be dangerous for your head/chest obv)- DJ Excellence

I work out 5-6 times a week. I used to have a split routine, but switched to full body recently. I never do cardio and weight lifting on the same day (to prevent muscle wasting) .
