A few things I am sick of in hip-hop....
The music that is timeless has the most human connection. Auto tune removes that. That's why it is just a fad. For example Bob Dylan, Jim Croce are time less. You can air there songs on the radio today and they could fit in. But The cars sound dated.- thedreampolice

Really high pitched voices from samples, DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP. Kanye pulled it off a few times, so did Blaze but now it sounds lame. Please stop, it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks! #2 Snare drums that change pitch dramatically as they roll, this is so lame and I know its a dirty...- thedreampolice

Recording tracks from MPC1000 to Reason
Podium looks cool, but it wont make me switch from Pro tools for traditional DAW work. Reason does most of what I need now. And I only use Pro tools for voice over and ADR.- thedreampolice

The idea for Reason in the beginning was that Reason was a self contained studio and that it was NOT a DAW. Looks like Reason 6 will add all the functionality you want, so just buy the upgrade and get rockin!- thedreampolice

Well as of now, Reason does not record audio, so you will need something like Record to your audio from your MP. Reason 6 will solve that problem but for now you will need to use a DAW.- thedreampolice
