Storch is still quality, it's a shame he's resorted to to doing magic over these dead trap/type beats. Get someone to put some decent acoustic drums under that shit it'd be hot. -
Pro Tools users... change your metering.

Tried this out. Actually not half bad for first go. Did it to the letter too.. 20 on drums, 10 on tonal. Then another 10 on additional tonal. Spent 5 minutes on balancing just now. Giving those limits too helps like you can just work for 20 mins, go away watch something eat dinner, come back to... -

Same here, but also having no time to make beats. So it's exacerbating the situation. Genuinely thinking it's time to call it goodnight on music making. As far as the advice of 'try making a different genre/style' I find sometimes that's even worse, because you'll just be making straight goofy... -

I know right. But even for this Beat This, I started the beat weeks ago, and basically had some small time to finish it, fell asleep, woke up to try complete it. That's my process lately. Ain't getting any time for it. For mixing music, it's better, as I don't have to sweat over compositions... -
