@Mike Chief That's the issue. It's a dilemma. And you need to choose what your approach will be. I always found the over "making yourself a brand" and appearing like a company very cringe, definitely ways it doesn't have to be. But didn't resonate with me. @Earsblower I'm not entirely sure how things work anymore but based on my old knowledge... Streaming platforms should be having to pay a fee to collection agencies, and the agencies then pay the royalties to the artist.
