    If you're just gonna be using your turntables for sampling and nothing else (such as scratching etc.) then any turntable is fine. But if you're gonna do a bit of scratching and stuff, just make sure its direct drive.

    mpc 1000 question.

    I change it up depending on what type of track I'm doing. I usually start off setting my T.C to 1/16 when i do my kick snares hi hats etc. But if I wanna get crazy I set it to 1/32. That's just me. I dont really stick to the same routines all the time though I change it up every now and then

    You should try it out and get a feel of what you like first and then consider buying it. Go to a music store such as guitar center and try out the MPC to see if you like it... which I think you will. If you have the money, then the MPC is worth buying.
