I definetly agree with you about working with an artist. When i work with someone, my ideas just come out quick. Rahter than just sitting alone in the basement by myself and tryin to think of suttin creative. But then again it depends on my mood too... but i feel ya.- KurtisRich

Sampling Producers.
I look for everything in a sample. When I dig for records, I dont just dig for a particular sound, I dig for what I really feel during that moment. It's all about the ear. I try to loook for every single element when I sample. But its kind of hard to pick out that on particular sound...- KurtisRich

Why layer it when u can sample the sound and layer a different sound on it on the nnxt?? As for me, the Spider's useless. exept for routing. It's all about how your beat sounds at the end of the day.- KurtisRich

That's cool. The reason why I made this thread was because I have this problem: I make a track in like 20-30 mins including composing or choppin up sample, but a majority of it is not finished. I say about 70% of my beats aren't finished. Sometimes I would make a rough track, leave it alone...- KurtisRich
