    The pre amps in the 1884 are terrible and have no gain. That being said you probably would be better off getting something like this http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SaffirePro40/ and PT9 for $599 That is about the same money as a 003 AND the Saffire is much better of an interface.

    I didnt lose money, but that was about it. I owned a paintball reseller company where I sold Co2 tanks, bags, ETC Its a tough gig, but at the end of the day I made money but not hear enough to keep going with it. But it was fun to learn about that kind of business.

    Make sure you talk to LUKE there and that Chris Scheidies sent you. He will hook you up! and I am not a big fan of the 1884, but if its s budget thing and you already have it, then you are good to go.
