    Cubase was my first love. Hopefully Studio One will come with something similar and effective. I find sometimes those sniped acapellas can have artefacts or be lacking somewhat obviously. Tho still impressive. I just wish they'd make acapellas more readily available.

    I use my ears. And a stupidly long time of experience. And still probably fuck it up. Truth be told, being new to mixing, it can probably be ridiculously hard to be getting that right, because your ears might be kinda 'new' in 'how to listen' to it. If you have the fortune of great acoustics...

    initially I'm shocked about there only being 10 participants... but a common theme I heard was 'really struggling to make something reggae', 'really struggling to make that reggae vibe'. Then you come here and few man are moaning some beats are tooo reggae. haha

    Why this is hard to vote: - some reaaally capture the reggae vibe - some are hip-hop/good, but don't capture the vibe as strong - many didn't take the opportunity to use vox Then you have to take ^all that into consideration, whilst considering all the usual voting factors.
