    It depends on your goal really, if you want to sell beats then you have to sound like what is hot NOW and that is a moving target. You can always throw in your own flavor. If you want to make it as an artist I would really try and have YOUR sound. Of course you can mix both.

    Got my hip-hop album almost done, waiting on tracks from a few more emcees. And almost done with my second electronic album. Forming a band and getting this design/production business up and running. ahhhh

    Just be careful getting foam that is to cheap, that stuff will breakdown over time. That's why I usually stick with Auralex there stuff will last forever.
