    elementsrtyte man sorry you need to read your PT manual. All of those problems you are having are easily fixed. I do sequence full songs in PT, works great. So does Just Blaze he no longer uses his MPC.

    "I wouldnt go symphony, let apogee work on that for a year or two lol" Actually Sympony is rock solid I use it all the time. Also Pro Tools HD work great with external gear. Pro tools le on the other hand sucks in that respect..

    Working in the music industry and not knowing Pro tools is like a graphic designer not knowing Photoshop. 7thangel do you make your living in the music industry? I know of two people on this forum that do. And both of us know PT inside and out.

    You need a decent sound card and monitors to mix. Pro tools works with only digi hardware, but Nuendo works with about anything.

    Turn her vocal mix way down in the headphones, so she can hardly hear herself. This will force her to sing louder and will almost always result in a better performance. in her mind she will just think she is singing quietly. Engineering is all psychology!
