    "NOOOOO latency!!!! absolutely." Well thats not true, everything has latency. Also if you have a decent sound card with asio drivers you can do just as good as an MPC, and anything under 5 is really not detectable.

    "hearing someone's opinion on hardware and software is always good" I agree but his point that software has more latency than hard is just not correct. You can get your software latency just as good if not better than hardware with the right audio card. Hardware has latency to.

    "logic 8 is literally a month or two away" Um no. Sorry I wish this was true. There was an apple/logic/emagic rep in Sweetwater today and we asked them about Logic 8 and they said apple has not told us anything yet. They would know if it was a month away. That would be cool.

    actually thats more of a pro tools problem than a mac problem try logic pro on that same mac and it will fly. Pro tools is a hog.

    right on, its seems like stanton either make awesome or crappy turntables. I plan on using the 120's forever. So I will let you know :)

    um sorry nope, look it up the 120's motor is MUCH faster. Starting Torque on the 1200 is 1.3 lb-in (1.5 kg-cm) Starting Torque on the stanton 120 More than 4.5 kgf.cm huge difference, and yes I scratch allot! here is the web links if you dont believe me...
