    headroom and SNR does not make a card sound better. the AD/DA converters are better in the RME that any of the other cards discussed. From there its Apogee/Prism. "and a good soundcard doesnt mean your beats are better" I agree. You need to work on your punctuation as I am not always sure...

    ya, I do agree that you need to stick with your gear and know it inside and out. But I think it also shows that software can do everything a person needs and more. You dont HAVE to get a MPC these days.

    410 firewire (M-audio) then you can run pro tools in the future! They also have great drivers.
