    did you load a mainboard cd after you loaded windows? If so it then loaded the correct driver. For your SATA controller. anyway, its all good.

    look at it when you are loading windows, it says ATAPI controller not SATA. "seriously that makes absolutely no sense.think about it." It does Look it up. search IDE emulation in google. Thats whats it doing. You do know I work in an I.T. shop right...

    actually it works because your mainboard is emulating ATAPI so xp supports it, not because it supports SATA. XP "thinks" its IDE. Cool huh

    user wont do you any good at all, switch it back to auto unless you know all the drive parameters. This is why I rock a mac as well.

    where is the drive connected? Usually it will be at SATA Port 0, master.

    the point of side chaining in general is to lock the kick and the bass guitar in to the same rhythm patter using compression. It not right for everything, but it can be tons of fun!
