If you are actually recording the drums with mics, then recording each drum to its own track might be necessary. But if you are sequencing drums that have already been recorded and cleaned up(samples) then they can just go to one track. That way you can apply a single eq to all the drum sounds...- 2GooD Productions

OK here we go..... I think the drums could be louder in the mix, if you put an eq on the drum track then 1) filter below 45hz(remove frequencies below 45hz using a high pass filter) <- this gives you more room for the boom by removing unwanted frequencies. 2) slowly start to boost at 85hz(adds...- 2GooD Productions
