WTF is mastering bass?
You're right bro. You don't master individual tracks such as bass or vocals, you mix them. Once you have completed mixing all these tracks and you have a two track version (a stereo file) then you master that. I think people who don't understand the difference use both words interchangeably. -

Pro Tools 8LE and OSX Mavericks
Cant confirm bro but i think it'll install and open... but not necessarily work. You will have issues with 32 bit plugs and also midi files will probably bug out. Not to mention a constant 720 error every time you load a few plugs. I was a big fan of 8 myself but have upgraded to 10 and love it... -

Check if they are in your Audio Suite plugin list. Sometimes some versions of downloaded plugs won't show up in your inserts plugin list -

strange problem in protools,ideas?
Definately in true stereo and not 2 channel mono? Maybe its summing the L and R channels to mono causing phasing to cancel some parts out? -
