How many of you have actually gotten a call back from an A&R and what do they usually talk to u about?

ive seen Riggs Morales (a&r shady records) on many different occassions, he talked to me a lot about the alchemist and promised to get me one of his beat tapes....which i never got cuz i never saw him again...we talked about the alchemist cuz i asked a lot of questions about son, he basically told me that he wants to hear 8 bars and a hook when producers send him beats. straight like that.thats all on production, there were other people there (non-producers) so it was mainly a hip hop conversation in general.

for sure, i have notice that some beatmaker forget to put a hook on a beat. it is always somewhat looping.
