Thank you! I honestly didn’t think I’d win since I used a bunch of dark, horror samples—except for round 2, where I went with a more conventional jazzy instrumental.

Like I mentioned earlier in the ILL chat, my favorite beat was the "Man’s World" flip by @K-waz . I was convinced I wouldn’t advance to the next round, but… the people have spoken.

Props to @TWU for making it to the finals, and to everyone who entered the battle.

This whole battle was really on point as everyone brought heat. Some brackets were close, but it was the final bracket that was super close. It could have easily gone the other way because the votes were close. I knew right away that it was going to be tough to vote on that one.

Overall I'm glad to see such a dope Battle That!

Think there's a lot of quality differences too. Though one of my favorite beats this whole battle didn't have the greatest of mixes.

My favorite beat was @TWU "2" that Chinese kung fu beat.

My apologies to everyone with the one beat...my hands were tied. I opted to take an automatic L. It didnt work out that way. So many dope beats this year and man, I wanna take a moment where I have more time to dive into each one. But, for whomever may feel a little salty, Ill be sure to challenge with other beats that was meant for this. Appreciate you, Fade. Didnt think Id get past first round in all honesty.
