coincidence; I went to eastern samples and now it seems it was in the air, there is even a very Onra-styled beat in the battle. No surprise you had a solid beat in your hands, so many melodies talkin to each other, love the composition. Ah, mine is so simple, but, hey, hope you like it!

I don't think your beat is simple at all. It feels like a movie. Love it from start to end.
@Kane the MOD - I really like the weight and tone of the kick. The plucked strings and the way they ring out gives this a really nice atmosphere. Matched nicely with that pad/violin sound too. There's another hollow pluck sound tucked way in the back which also helps with the atmosphere. That synth bass tone is dope. I think a simpler bass pattern help as the bass line and the other melodics seem to be going in different directions. For the most part, I like the mix on this and like the near medieval quality of it.
@attila - great mix. This really fills up the stereo spectrum. At first I wasn't sold on the chorus effect on that bluesy piano lick...but on a second listen, I think it was a really cool creative decision. The slides on the upright bass help give this that much more character...but...is the bass in stereo? Tons of atmosphere and space. I like the use of grass-roots blues instruments (Upright, harmonica). This has a cinematic quality to it that's quite nice.
