I had the opportunity to meet Quik a few years back he got definite skillz and is down to earth and asked me listen to some beats too back in the day with Mausberg b4 he was killed, he has some musical ability, and also knows how to sample and create, West Coast sounding pimped out blazin Tracks (Dre & Quick)
Head bobbin classic shidd...(RZA & 4th Disciple)
Synth and Classical blending, background layering (Alchemist & Havoc)
originality, unique concepts (oh yeah VA homie! Timbo)
I wonder if there were no Timbo would they be relevant? (Neptunes)
Vinyl snatching trendsetter whose techniques influence many other producers right now that are hot (Premo )
Their names speak for themselves (Large Professor & Pete Rock)
Thatz it......its hard to name 1 or two because all of them Got their strengths in what they do.....
I dunno but I think we talked about this a long time ago anyhow its always a good discussion.
