Cakewalk is back!

So BandLab snatched up the Cakewalk brand and are now offering Sonar FREE. I don't know what the long-term goal is (maybe subscriptions for special software addons), but at least for now you can get it for free. I've already installed it and it just required me to sign up to BandLab.

Anyway, I'm really happy to see this because I was not thrilled last year when Gibson bought Cakewalk and then tanked it.

lol just remembering, cakewalk was the original fruity loops. it was very shitted on. I don't know why we have to draw lines around sw... ford vs chevy, ps vs xbox... smh
