i am running logic 4.8 for windows 98. usually when i do a track after its complete, i go back and record all my midi info to audio. im thinking of going back to my old skool setup of just mixing everything on my mackie board, and just recording my vocals in logic. when im trying to mix, staring at a screen can be pretty tiresom, especially when its like 30plus or more tracks. i mean if its all vocals then its a little easier but having mad sounds and stuff, it gets a lil crazy

Sounds like you need a multitrack recorder. When I say that just don't think multitrack software, this depends on your soundcard if it's software and your wallet if it's hardware. Basically you would need like 5 or 6 motu's to make your software be a multitrack recorder and not just multitrack software. Or buy the Hardware and hook your mixer up to it. You know, I really can't say to much without knowing your setup. What and how are you working it?
