Copyright laws piss me off. I can see that the artists that get sampled should get their just dues and royalities, but hip hop was/is based off of sampling. This video brings up many great points on why sampling is alright. Thanks for posting dude.

yeah i think these artists should get paid if the sample is recognizable, but i dont think they should get paid if a producer samples a snare or a kick drum, etc. that is just rediculous!!!!!! most of the time you can prob get away with it but i wouldnt risk it, it would prob come back to bite you in the future.
