i dont know... i was on the computer surfing the web, finding out information on things, and i figured, maybe we should do one of these, "education" threads related to everything music... shit, i dont know everything, so maybe somebody can enlightten me sometimes.. so here goes.. everybody post something interesting music related... we might need it in the future.. lol.. so here we go...

based on info i found on the 'net.. The Yellow Magic Orchestra was the 1st to use the TR808 drum machine, in a song called 1000 knives.
