sup people, I plan on running FL, and soundforge on a laptop and i also plan on sampling vinyl as well. im guessing the audio quality is the same, so if you all feel the indigo is better, which one should i get the I/O version or the DJ one? thanks a lot. damn i just noticed the indigos dont have midi, so could i use the internal soundcard for that?

Shit, on a laptop....i dont think so man.....Ive never seen a laptop yet that has a stock midi connect.....Id go with whichever one provides the essential audio connections yer looking for and fuck the rest, unless of course u kno youl need other features in the future.

if you go for an indigo get the i/o cos the dj doesnt have input. but yo id advise against it cos there is only one input and one output on the i/o and they are only 1/8 inch jacks. the firewire audiophile has trs jacks and is a break out box so the analogue will be converted to digital in the box excternal from the computer. but it will cost more.
