edirol hyper canvas?

Has anyone used this? Are the instruments good quality? Im thinking about getting it.

A friend get it, we try it together but it sound really flat except if u put a lot of FXs after. This kind of sound module are really too little in terms of waveforms, it can't fight against big sound bank. I use this kind of sound to layer a sample ( string pad or piano chords) and it must fit right in the mix. Hypersonic is really poor like edirol's plugs.
It may sound good if you use only this sound module on your track .
The solution i've found : Kontakt Sound Bank .

is the kontakt soundbank REALLY superior then the hypersonic or edirol soundbank? i would be nice to hear some more opinions on kontakt soundbank.anyone?

Yes no comparision, kontakt blows it away. And you can always make or buy newer samples for kontakt. But with soundbank what you get is what you get.

Hyper canvas is great. remember it aint what you use, but what you do with it. compress the sound add some surround effect some delay. something. dont try to find a vsti thats gonna give u "OMG that is a dope piano sound. no make your own, make your own signiture sound. learn compressions learn how to work the VST effects. i mean seriosuly do u wana be a producer u got to learn all aspects about audio. also when u load a VST effect go to help. it will explain alot or just simple
