Anyone messed with this feature? Prolly would be real nice for fine tuning acapellas over a beat or otherwise. I got a version with it but never played around with it yet.

yes the elastic feature is amazing. from tutorials I have seen, you can take one vocal phrase and layer it tweaking the pitch of the layers to make it sound like three separate recordings. Mostly though I use the feature to timestretch samples. most of my samples are now mostly manipulated in protools, it is only the small chops that i punch in melodically that I use the mpc for. straight illness digi :)

used it a little for a remix/protools project for school. it's real-time so it takes up processing power. turned it off for a few things not needed (had it automatically in the settings, not anymore though). i found x-form pretty useful plus it's a rendered process.

i doubt i'll use it much as pt isn't my main daw and i only use it for tracking my cubase-made wavs and occasionally mixing.
