Feedback during Recording

When I record audio into Fls i get feedback through my headphones as i record, how do i stop this?

you dont. i kinda sounds like an echo. dont worry. when you hit play it will sound like its supposed to.

But its so annoying and i have to put the volume low or the mic will start to screech there has to be a way to eliminate this

Am new here, but i just saw this and wanted to comment. I have also had this problem in the past until i came around a solution. The solution is to route your mic/vocals through the "send" channel on the mixer, then go ahead and mute that channel. You should be able to record without hearing your own voice in your head now

o wrd i did think it was that simple,,,umma try it out and see what happens

EDIT:: Yea it worked,,,,next step is noise removal
