mmmmh... to me it sounds like experimental hiphop, not dance at all... waves tracks are... not saying it aint good, it's just not dance.
I know you what is said about breaking rules and all, but for instance, even if you wanted to call that salsa, (yeah the example is far fetched...) for example, it's just not it... the 4/4 kick is THE foundation of dance music. You can play with it, but not change the time signature cuz it becomes something else then...
My opinion still, but dance tracks MUST have that "pumping your fist in the hair" or "jumping up and down" feel to it... and the speed of dance is normally over 120bpm...
