That would be dope. But, you can set up rolls in FL using the arpegiattor.

find out how it work on the pad kontrol, then try to apply it to FL.

padKONTROL's flam function uses X for the interval from first strike until second flam occurs. The Y is for the velocity(volume). The roll function uses X for speed and Y for velocity(expression).

Fruity X-Y controller only uses the X-Y values to automate. One could probally use the SDK from ImageLine for developing a generator plugin that could take the X-Y value and apply exactly what Korg did for the padKONTROL.

The reason the padKONTROL's pad works good is that it only takes 1 finger to control 2 values at the same time. Try doing that with 2 knobs or 2 faders(ok you might be able to but the precision with one hand wouldn't be there) while still having a hand free. So as you can see you're not going to gain much functionallity by even having Fruity X-Y replicate this ill functionallity you find in the padKONTROL. The reason I say this is because you can already do drum rolls in FL which is very simple by using the Chopper(Alt+U) in the Piano Roll. It is a bit more tedious than the padKONTROL but it would be even more tedious & complicated to do it with Fruity X-Y.
