I have the option to choose between the Behringer B1 and the Behringer C3. The local salesman adviced me to get the first one but beeing more expensive i dont trust his objective oppinion.

I would say save a bit more and get a KSM27 on ebay for like $200
that mic will last you years where the behringer stuff is just ok, but not great.

of course a salesman is gonna get u to spend more cash but the more u spend the better quality in the product go where ur heart is

Why would you not rather have a MUCH better mic? Both those behringer mics are crap.

Rode NT1000... what i use... $300... everyone that hears it, loves it... veon's right... there are better mics for the price... but if ur stuk on those, i can kinda understand. here's a look at the NT1000, its compared to the Neumann TLM103, U87i and U87ai, which are $1,000+ mics... $300 if practically laffable when u consider the quality bein compared to High End mics... if u aint read my thread on stuff i wish i didnt buy... consider reading it...lol
