How do I smooth out my sound?

My songs seems to go from note to note sounding like its just jumping around instead of a smooth melody. How do I smooth it out so the music flows?

Use a little delay helps push back some of the sounds.
A little reverb too

All of these ideas sound good...I will try them all.

double click on the sampler box to bring up the controls. adjust the timing manually to move samples around a little.

get some 'nac and it will sound smoofa.
