How do you know your beat is hot?

I am having trouble with this.. Ill make a beat..and ill think its sick..but other people want..can somebody tell me how do you know when your beat is fire ?

well when i finish the beat and it turned out how i imagined then its hot for me.plus when i want it to hear it again again and again wihout that it makes me bored then i know it must have sumtin that maybe sum other dude can find it hot.

basically dont care if its hot for the others or not just trust yourself if the beat u made u want to hear it again and again then it must have sumtin.

its like u fucked a girl and she was hot and u want to fuck her again again again again again AND again PEACE haha.

I know a beat is hot when I see a vision for the song right when I make it! SOmetimes I'll just make a beat and won't get that. I know it's a classic eXampuL_oNe production when I get the whole picture as I'm making it!

when u get goosebumps, i like to call them the "hip hop chills", when u hear that beat, i know it, or that perfect sample, if u arent getting the chills, the beat is prob just aight

It's all subjective. What's good for one person might kill the next. I wouldn't worry about others opinions as in the end what matters is what you feel about the situation.

When I bump my head to it, ALOT.

I usually try to put my beats away for a couple days and then come back, if I am STILL bumping my head to it or feeling an emotion, then I know others may.

I listen to fellow producers/composers music and put mine against theirs. Asking myself, "Does theirs have better quality sounds than mine?"

I let my critical friends, mi madre, or mi hermano listen to them over the phone. LOL

Like Grafik said, if you don't get those "OOOOOOOOOOO That's hot!" coming out of your mouth when you are done, then it is probably just average. I don't really like average.

sometimes i suspect that its hot, but then if I take to the studio with at least 5-10 people and play it(LOUD) they confirm my suspicions then I put an emcee on the beat, then I let someone else that holds a weekly event take it to the club...those are how I know a track that I made is actually hot and from there I go with it....to sum it up pure unadulterated, unanimous neutral CROWD REACTION and neck breakability....LOL btw ASH got a good description too!!

lol...so...when you get a look on your face like you smelled some piss... the track is hot ? lmao..sometimes ill be sitting there..and i feel as if my neck is gon break off..because the type of beats i make are bouncy head nodding type joints...and then ill play it for the next man..and they'll be like..thats straight..and then i play some SIMPLE joint with like..nothing but drums..and theyll be like "OOOOOHWEEEEE""and i feel like slapping them repeatedly and saying FU*K YO COUCH NIKKA FU*K YO COUCH!

People like simple. I have been tryin to get to the most basic 5 sound crap I can possibly make, they love it!!!
Its not about what you like if your makin trax for money.
If your doin it for you its all about what you like.
I know its hott when the endorphins in my frontal lobe start releasing and I feel high. Shit like peote or some shit!
