there is nothing wrong with using loops. Its art. There are no rules with art.

Should never hate on looping. Saves time, money and work.
Although, when looping an audio sample etc watch the punch at the beginning of the sample, make sure there are no pops or clips on the track.

Well..you're right..but you're really not trying to "save time money and work" per se...because if you're into just trying to save money time and work, the quality may suffer...especially with the time and work part...

But yes looping can be easy..but it's that much harder to make it sound tough....if it sounds dope....then it's dope...period....you don't need a 32piece orchestra to make a tough track (although it won't be hard to make one) and you don't need to be a lifelong pianist, either....Utilize the tools, techniques, knowledge you have and make the most of it....

As long as you provide a cosmetic background to fuel the best possible performance from an emcee... it's all good!!! An intro, punching out the kick and snare throughout and some percussion can turn that simple loop to a complete song.

i'd love to know how looping saves money...lol... bcuz at the end of a finished looped project, u just made the creator and/or the record company money, not urself,... of course im speakin in terms of ur dealing with mainstream artists, and not the underground and the up n comers that we're mostly accustomed to.
