What's up, I've been checking this site out for a few months now, and I just signed up to post here and there. I'm in love with music, I'm not too good at other types of fine art and I never learned how to play an instrument, but I know good sounds and I can mess with a computador, so I figured I'd get at beat making. I'm also a hip-hop kid, so I've been in love with beats since I was in diapers.
So far I strictly mess with fruity loops and cool pro, and I'm trying to learn it all within that framework fore I branch out. Basically, I'm hoping I can learn some cool shyt from illmuzik, maybe meet a couple good cats making smooth beats, and wholeheartedly attempt to step my game up a notch or two or 20.
The name is k://mo/reason cause I'm Kemp Moyer and I'm a reasoning muthafucca. If you're down with stepping up your own mind and life, the minds and lives of those around you, and the general state of affairs in this half-dead, semi-zombie world, and that includes putting your heart, mind and soul in to a love like music, then I feel you and I'm down with it. If you can't do nothing but pout, whine and feel sorry for yourself or whatever, I don't feel you and don't hate on me when I bring my A-game. Gracias.
Holler at me if you feel where I'm coming from, or if you got some advice for a kid with talent who needs to learn some more of the ropes and really wants to master this art.
Hit me up also if you dig putting a real-talk philosophy in your raps (ie liberty, eastern stuff like zen or tao, objectivism, you know the heavyweights.) I'm trying to see some cats who are talking the realness.
